Canadian Maritimes Adventure

Offer Image
Explore Canada’s Atlantic seacoast on this scenic vacation to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Your trip begins and ends in Halifax, with charming fishing villages, natural wonders, and breathtaking vistas in between. Head first to New Brunswick and the Bay of Fundy, site of the world’s highest and most dramatic tides and home to Hopewell Rocks, giant sandstone formations carved by years of tidal erosion. Spend two nights in nearby Saint John, Canada’s oldest incorporated city, established by royal charter in 1785. Take a day excursion to explore the charming and historic town of St. Andrews By-the-Sea where you can take an optional whale-watching cruise. Travel across the 8-mile Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island, famous for its potatoes and red sand beaches, for a two-night stay in Charlottetown. Go on a sightseeing tour of the island with a Local Guide and visit Green Gables Heritage Place, the setting for the beloved novel, Anne of Green Gables. Savor fresh, locally caught lobster at an optional lobster supper. Enjoy a ferry ride back to Nova Scotia, then continue on to Cape Breton Island for a two-night stay in the town of Baddeck. After an orientation tour, visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum with exhibits tracing the achievements of this great inventor who spent the last years of his life on Cape Breton. Keep your camera ready as you travel along the Cabot Trail, one of the most scenic drives in the world, stopping at Cape Breton Highlands National Park to take in the landscape resembling Scottish coastal regions. You’ll return to the city of Halifax for a two-night stay and take a day excursion to visit the quaint fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, one of Canada’s most photographed locations. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg, where you’ll visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic to learn about the importance the fishing industry has to this region. Picturesque scenery, charming fishing villages, natural wonders, and historical sites-this trip has it all!
